How do I go about
placing an
order with
you?
If you want to place an
order for a standard garment (in standard
color, size, trim) for delivery as soon as
possible, email
info@maggieheirlooms.com and place
your order. I
will send you an invoice via PayPal that you
can pay with your credit card. You
may also go to my
Etsy shop for styles with prices. If you want to order a custom
garment, email us at
info@maggieheirlooms.com to submit your information for
your custom design quote. If you want to
purchase a deposit for a future order go to
my
order page and
purchase a deposit through PayPal for the
month you are requesting. This assures you a
place in line in that month. You will be
invoiced for the remainder of your garment
when it is started.
If you want to order a garment
for delivery at a future date
(Christmas, Easter, wedding next
summer, etc.) and ensure that you
have a place in line you may pay a
deposit of $25 per garment to hold
your place for your choice of
months. Final payment will be
requested in the form of a Paypal
invoice the week before your garment
is started (2-6 weeks before your
delivery date depending on
complexity of your order). By
placing a deposit for a spot, you
are assured of having your order in
line without having to pay for the
entire garment up front. Delivery
will be made by the 1st of the month
you choose.

How long does it take to receive a garment
or item from you?
Since most of my items are
custom made for you, usually you should
allow between 2 to 8 weeks from finalization
of your order until the time it is finished.
More complex designs or busy times like
Christmas and Easter take closer to the 8
weeks than simple designs. If you want to reserve a space for a
particular month in the future you
may purchase a
"Save the Date" for your
garment. This is a nonrefundable
deposit toward the cost of your
garment. Final payment for your
garment is due when your garment is
started.

Can I get swatches
of the fabrics to choose from?
You can order up to 5
swatches for $5.00. The swatch charge is
applied to any item ordered.

I have a photo of
a garment from a magazine or catalog.
Can you
recreate
the garment for me?
Usually yes, but sometimes
no. I would have to see the design
first before answering the question.
Copyrighted designs will not be reproduced
for legal reasons.

What about
pricing... how do you compare to what I
would buy in a store?
It depends... If you are
referring to an upscale boutique store, my
prices would be approximately 25% less.
If you are referring to a discount store, my
prices would be higher because my garments
are custom made by hand, not assembly line
produced for a cheaper product.

How do I
send my
measurementsto you?
My
measurement
chart is located here. If your
child fits into these measurements
just tell me what size. If you have
a variation in your child's size
from my measurements, let me know
what to make different from my
measurements.

Can you
measure my
childfor a perfect fit?
Yes, I can meet with you
for a custom measurement consultation at a
rate of $50 per hour plus travel expenses.

Can I supply my
own fabric for my garment?
You may use your own
fabrics if they meet my approval and you
send the correct amount.

How do I
pay for
my order?
You can pay with your
credit card through PayPal. It is not
necessary for you to have a PayPal account
to pay through them.
Personal checks and Money Orders are also
accepted.
Personal checks must clear before your order
will be shipped.

Do I give you a
deposit or in full on order?
You may pay a deposit on our deposit page to hold your place for delivery at a future date. All
garments
are to be paid in full when your order is started. It should be shipped out
within 2-8 weeks unless we notify you of a
delay. Orders will be
started only after full payment is received.

Do you
charge for
shipping?
Yes, I add only the cost
of a box and the exact UPS, USPS or FEDEX
charges are to your final bill.
Hint: If you ship USPS Priority Mail, boxes
are free! Orders over $150 ship free to the
US.

What is your
return policy?
Since your garment was
made especially for your order, we do not
take returns. If there is a problem
with your garment, see the next question on
warranty.

What kind of
warranty do you offer
on your garments?
If there is a problem with
your garment when you receive it in the
mail, please email immediately and we will
work out the problem. I stand behind
every garment that I make and will make sure
that you are happy with your purchase and
that
the garment you ordered is up to the
specifications stated in the description
agreed upon finalizing your order.
